How interesting that I’ve received a question about this tattoo, considering I’ve never posted a picture of it on Tumblr, ha.

XVII VIII MCMXCVI is my sister’s birthday and of all of my tattoos, it means the most (I caught the bus home after I got it and was so overwhelmed with emotion that I cried half of the way). I love her with every fibre of my being, and every time I catch a glimpse of my wrist it reminds me that I have a reason to be alive.
