I can’t wait to live in a world where “being successful” doesn’t necessarily mean “being wealthy.” I can’t wait for the day when nutritious food is affordable and processed food is obsolete. I can’t wait to see reforms in all education systems so children are encouraged to enhance their creativity and can learn things such as relationship skills, how to communicate peacefully, and the importance of loving their bodies. I can’t wait to live in a world where no species of plant or animal is in danger of extinction because the environment is something that is respected, and all power is supplied by clean renewable resources. I can’t wait for a time when all humans have their basic needs met because money is no longer important. I can’t wait to go a whole day where I’m not bombarded with advertisements because the understanding that happiness can’t be found in tangible objects has been reached on a global scale. I can’t wait to live in a world where words like “sexism” and “racism” can’t be found in any dictionary because discrimination simply doesn’t exist.

I’m looking forward to all of these things because I have a feeling that this generation is going to be the one to make positive changes, and that all of these goals are achievable.
